So far we’ve been mostly discussing traffic and getting people to your website, but traffic is only half of the equation.

What people do when they get to your fitness website is equally important.

If people hit the back button as soon as they land on your website it’s like pouring water into a bucket with a huge hole in the bottom… it doesn’t matter how much water you put into the bucket – you’ll never fill it.

Before you create your website you should have a clear goal on what you want your website to achieve…

  1. Buy your program or sign up for a trial.
  2. Fill in your contact form or join your email list where you can market to them later.

You need to know what is going through your prospects mind when they land on your website, do they want to…

  1. Lose weight?
  2. Build muscle?
  3. Run a marathon?

Speak directly to them about how you can solve their problems and help them reach their goals so that you can offer them the solution.

Anything else on your website is just clutter that distracts them and moves them further away from taking action.
