Do you feel like everyone is making a killing online except you?
Do you struggle to get traffic to your website, or to convert the little traffic you do get into sales?
So how do successful personal trainers make money online?
The answer is simple, they follow a proven system.
What we’re trying to do (sell services) isn’t anything new, we’ve been doing it for thousands of years… it’s just that the media has changed… online marketing is still new and it’s evolving fast.
Here Are 5 Tips To Succeed Online
1. Choose Your Niche
If you’re marketing to everyone you’re marketing to no-one.
You cannot be everything to everyone.
This is the most common mistake fitness professionals make, one week they’re a sports specific trainer… the next week a bodybuilding coach.
Who do you enjoy working with the most?
Choose your niche and stick with it.
2. Write Attention Grabbing Headlines
You have roughly 3 seconds to get your readers attention when they land on your website or they’re gone forever.
Your headline must solve your prospects pain, or move them closer to their goal, and it must grab their attention so that they want to read more.
This is why choosing a niche is so powerful, so you can speak directly to your prospect knowing exactly what motivates them.
3. Create a Funnel
Only 3% of people that land on your website have their credit card in hand ready to buy.
The other 97% are browsing online looking for more information.
Offer your prospects something of value in exchange for their email address so you can follow up with them later.
Can be a cheat sheet, a short report or a video workout, you choose… give them something to scratch their itch.
4. Write Good Sales Copy
Weak sales copy kills conversions.
Most fitness pros suffer from ‘me too marketing’, they write about themselves and forget about their prospects pain, fears, frustrations and desires.
Here’s a simple sales letter formula you can use.
Find their problem
Aggravate their problem
Solve their problem
Social proof (Testimonials & before/afters)
Call to action
Follow this simple formula and you’ll be ahead of 99% of your competition.
5. Get Traffic (and lots of it)
Traffic is the lifeblood of online marketing, it doesn’t matter how pretty your website is if nobody knows you exist.
The more traffic sources you have, the better.
But, choose one media where you can really dominate your competition.
every business needs at least one unfair marketing advantage.
