I was on a coaching call with a trainer last week.
He was facing a new challenge in his business, albeit a good one:-)
His personal training studio is doing great, but he's finding his members want to train with him rather than with his trainers.
He knows that there there are only so many hours in a day and only so many people he can train at any one time.
And, as a business owner he also understands he should be working ON his business and not IN his business, but how does he break this cycle?
What is this one tip to scale your personal training business?
Here it is…
Promote your program… not yourself.
Educate your clients on the value of your program, let them know that your trainers are following your proven system. That way, it doesn't matter who delivers the workout – the results will be the same.
Seems simple right?
Yes, but very few trainers fail to break through the dreaded personal trainer salary cap because they don't find leverage in their business.
So, what about you… What can you leverage in your business?
Can you leverage software and sell your training programs 24/7/365 via the internet?
Can you leverage your time and train 30 people instead of 1 in a boot camp workout?
Can you leverage other peoples time and hire trainers to supervise your workouts for you?
Spend time working IN your business putting together the training systems and marketing systems necessary to scale your business to the next level.
This one tip alone will help you make more money, take more time off and grow your business.
Stay strong!
