I was walking through Bondi today and a very attractive girl handed me a flyer.
The headline read “Bondi’s Tastiest Burgers!”
This burger joint has very wisely done something 99% of business owners never do.
They’ve claimed their title.
A title doesn’t automatically go to someone who has the most Facebook followers, the most qualifications or even the most experienced… it goes to the person who has the balls to claim it first.
Don’t wait to be anointed, anoint yourself – it’s O.K… you don’t need anybody’s permission.
Having a title makes you an authority and instantly gives you credibility.
And once you’ve claimed it… it’s yours… you own it!
Put your title put on your website, your flyers and in all your marketing.
What title can you claim?
Are you the first, the best, the biggest or the newest in something?
All of the above work great and are subjective to the beholder.
Here are a few suggestions…
‘England’s leading authority in weight loss for women over 40’
‘Australia’s best boot camp program’
‘Spain’s most sought after fitness expert’
But… What if I’m fresh out of PT School and haven’t built my brand yet I hear you ask?
Newest works great, people always want the newest or the latest of something.
Don’t believe me?
Ever walked passed an Apple store when the new IPhone is being released.
Does 99% the same thing as the last one but people have gotta get it NOW.
Here’s one you can use…
‘London’s newest and most exciting body transformation program’.
Simple yet powerful and will instantly position you above your competition.
What title can you use for your fitness business?
Claim it before your competition does… it’s O.K – you don’t need anybody’s permission.
